In 1998 the Cypress Creek & Southern Railroad suffered two back-to-back floods. Photo taken from the bridge by David Hannah,III

New Car Barn

In May 1998 construction began on the new car barn and shop.

Last Run Day at the Browning Railroad

Saturday, January 24, 1998, (See photo memories here) was the last run day at one of the premier 7-1/2" gauge railroad tracks in the US, the Browning Railroad, owned by HALS Member, David Hannah III.
Golden Spike Ceremony No. 1 - October 21, 1995
Golden Spike Ceremony on Phase 1 was held on October 21, 1995. Tom Herbert, President, with engines 0-4-0 and 2-8-0 owned by Nathan Neuse and Jim Jackson.
