September Run Day

The September 15, 2001, HALS' Run Day was held as scheduled. Although our Nation suffered a tremendous loss earlier in the week and most other activities across the country were cancelled, members felt that not only could we be a help to children and families, it would be uplifting for us to provide a fun outing for those children. We're so glad we did. So many folks told us how happy they were that we had not cancelled the Run Day.
