Another Amazing Run Day

Captain Tacconelli, the most feared pirate in Zube Park this day. "Don't pay any attention to us - we're just out having a bit of fun scaring your passengers". "BOOO!" "Man, my back is killing me. Oh wait, I'm already dead. I could still use a footrest though". This fine fellow watched over me during my stint as Jason Brownlee's conductor.
The Poison Cabinet, where ghosts, demons, and goblins go to get their weapons of choice for whatever mayhem they have planned. The old ticket booth is boarded up and will be removed to make room for an extension of the platform cover. The station before riders were allowed in. All the engines and cars are ready, and the concession area (not in photo) is being stocked up for a busy day. The line would eventually be out the entrance and around the corner, down the sidewalk at about 11:00. This is the entrance to the concession area and the station platform. The concrete pad is for a new ticket booth, but was rather occupied this day by several nefarious characters who threatened any who dared intrude upon their space. Jason Brownlee's train getting ready to pull out of the station. Conductor not shown because he was taking the photo.
Cody Crawford conducting for Jason in the afternoon. George Leventon hauling passengers. Barry Tobias conducting for George. Randy Neville
JB Cason Rick White conducting for JB Cason Case Alexander and his CN engine. Mike Alexander conductor for his son on the CN.
Brian Campopiano David Sands conducting for Brian Campopiano Boneyard. Aptly named. I heard at least one gasp of surprise as we came around the corner to this scene.-- Doug Blodgett
Entering Spider Alley. Spooky!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More ghosts and goblins to scare the passengers. The kids loved this. It was best early in the morning when the sun highlighted the webs.
Blow me down matey. Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of soda (we can't have rum in the park). The notorious pirate, Captain Tac, (short for Tacconelly) was seen at least once leaning over the bulwarks, taunting passengers on the trains. Our Grand Old Man, Barry Tobias, catching up on his reading before the trains run. Jim Cash and Steven Tacconelly out on patrol. They ran around making sure the decorations and smoke generators were functioning properly during the day.
